Body, mind and soul. They are undeniably interconnected and their conditions are dependent on one another. A healthy body is not a requirement for faith and intimacy with God, but I’ve found in my experience that when I care for the basic needs of my body, my spiritual life flourishes. What we eat, whether or not we exercise, and what we do in our free time can all help or hinder our relationship with the Lord. I can say with confidence from a God-given place of wholeness in Christ, there is a very real tie between my physical wellness and the state of my soul.

Day 2 - Post something that inspires you.
Cheesy or gushy as it may be, the first thing that came to mind when I looked at the prompt for today was my fiance Brian. Why does he inspire me? More reasons than I can count. But if I had to name a few, these would be them:
He gets up early to spend time with the Lord every morning before work.
He rarely buys himself anything because he’s so generous he buys things for other people first.
He climbed Mount Shasta and ran a half marathon last year.
He spends all day doing finance in a silent office, and he still has a contagious personality and witty sense of humor.
He is slow to anger.
He is brotherly and loving to everyone—close friends and strangers alike.
He knows me and all of my brokenness, and he loves me regardless.
Brian, you inspire me. I can’t believe I get to be your wife one day.
